Q: Are you Licensed & insured?

A: Yes we are!

Q: when should i book your team for our wedding?

A: We recommend booking as soon as possible. Saturdays can fill up very quick, especially in the peak wedding season.

Q: how long will my makeup and hair last?

A: I always say, your hair and makeup will last as long as you take care of it. A lot of artists like to tell their clients that their makeup will be waterproof and will not budge no matter what. This simply is not true. Your makeup can definitely be water resistant, but eventually enough water accumulation can start to ruin your makeup. Remember, makeup isn’t a tattoo so its not permanent. If you give your hair/makeup the proper after care then you should have no issue what so ever partying through the night with a flawless look! Clients have vouched for a 12-24 hour application.

Q: what if i have a really big bridal party? can you do large parties?

A: Oh you know it! We have assistants ready to take on the biggest of bridal parties.

Q: what brands do you use?

A: We use nothing but the best quality of products for our brides and clients. We believe you get what you pay for, so if you are paying for great quality - you shall receive great quality.

Q: do you travel?

A: We sure do! Wherever you need us, we will be there.

Q: Where can i read reviews?

A: You can find reviews about us on google, wedding wire, and our facebook page!

Q: should i do a bridal trial?

A: Absolutely! A trial is ALWAYS recommended. I try to stress this because we want our brides to know what they have visioned come to life before the big day. That way if there are any changes, then we can tweak for the actual wedding day.

Q: well what is the proper after care?

A: 1. BLOT, don’t rub! If you are crying or sweating - you need to grab a tissue and blot/pat. Do not rub or this will cause your makeup to rub off.

2. Purchase a lip color of your choice to touch up through the night. (you’ll be giving lots of kisses, drinking, and eating!)

3. If you get oily, make sure you have a pressed compact of translucent powder and blotting sheets. This can cut down the oiliness.

Q: How can i book?

A: We require a signed contract and a non refundable/non transferrable retainer fee to hold your date. Reach us at addieallen@heydollbeauty.com for more info!

Q: should i get false lashes or lash extensions?

A: Personally, I recommend falsies as much as possible. But if you are a major crier when you get your makeup done - 100% extensions are the best route. Falsies can be complicated to glue on with extremely sensitive, watery eyes!

Q: what payments do you take?

A: Cash, Credit/Debit card, and Cashier check/Money orders for large amounts! Venmo/Paypal only for retainers and other small amounts.

Q: do you have a preferred vendor list??

A: We do! Inquire with us to learn more about our most beloved vendors!
